Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)
The Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) enables foreign skilled workers who have been nominated by a state or other government body and who pass the migration point test to remain and work in Australia.

Write up an EOI
An Expression of Interest (EOI) is required to be submitted through SkillSelect while you are applying for a Skilled Independent or Skilled Nominated Visa
get a state nomination
You will receive a state nomination (only for 190 or 419) through an invitation from the Australian Government or State Government to Apply for Skilled Visa
apply for GSM Visa
Once you receive a nomination, you are now eligible to apply for a General Skilled Visa, and you have 60 days from the day you receive your nomination to apply
Information that needs to Submitted with your EOI:
You must provide some basic information when submitting your EOI, depending on the type of Visa you are applying for or are eligible for. Here are some of the essential information you need to include for a successful EOI
Your Basic Personal Information (Eg; Name, and Age)
Your previous Work Experience in your skilled Area
Documents that your support your skilled qualifications
Information that verify your English Language Ability ( eg; IELTS)
A skill Assessment document, which speak and relate to your nominated occupation
As of July 2014, the Australian Government has made a Skills Assessment report mandatory as part of the General Skilled Migration Visa process. The Skills assessment report that you receive is valid for up to only 3 years, and shorter if there is a validity period otherwise mentioned on the document.
Health Requirements
While the health criteria vary depending on the circumstances, several common examinations that one must go through are related to one’s anticipated activities in Australia, their country of citizenship, and their time spent in all of the countries over the previous five years.
This requirement applies not only to the visa holder but family members as well who are listed in the application, no matter whether they are migrating or not.
*The validity period for any health examination result is 12 months.
Character Requirements
You need police clearances from any nation you’ve resided in for a year or more in the previous 10 years (after you turned 16 years of age)
*You shouldn’t have any outstanding debts to the Australian government before your visa is granted
English Requirements
To demonstrate your proficiency in English, you must have obtained the required scores on one of the examinations below.
In the Pearson Test of English, all four test components must score at least 50. (PTE)
At least a score of 6 on each of the four IELTS test components, or an equivalent score on the TOFEL iBT, OET, or CAE.

Your spouse (Husband/Wife)
Your or your partner’s children or step children
*Ensure you have all the documents as evidence to prove your relationship with them
